A small terracotta statuette of kneeling Maria Magdalena with her hands folded on her chest was acquired from Stefano Bardini in Florence for the Berlin Museums in 1882. Originally, the statuette's height was 44 cm; after 1945 fire only its upper part survived. The statuette still has traces of colouring and gilding that had already been lost by the time of its acquisition.
