The Portrait of a Young Girl by Mino da Fiesole, acquired for collections of the Berlin museums very early, in 1842, is widely known and was repeatedly replicated in plaster and prints. Mino da Fiesole was a sculptor whose works became wildly popular in the 19th century, were collected and imitated.
