Discussion "Personal and social aspects of Xenia Hausner’ art"

Participants of the discussion about personal and social aspects of contemporary art and Xenia Hausner’s paintings will talk about how private history, geographical location and body memories influence such an individual artistic practice as fine art. Both the painter herself and curator will probably touch not only the classic matter of figurative painting but also the question of radical actionism, which was born in a postwar Vienna - Xenia Hausner’s hometown. Common genesis and cultural background of these very different phenomenons give the speakers a lucky opportunity to concentrate on Austrian artistic, social and therapeutic tradition.
