The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts offers football fans, who cаme to Moscow for the FIFA World Cup, to attend the guided tours of the permanent display and the "Rodchenko and Stepanova. Football" exhibition. Tours are offered in Russian and English languages.
Until the 15th of July in The Main Building there is an exhibition "Rodchenko and Stepanova. Football". The small exhibition includes 9 paintings, graphic artworks, and photographs on the topic of football and sports from the Rodchenko-Stepanova holdings.
There will also be held thematic tours "Sport: War and Peace", which tells the story of physical beauty in the Ancient Era and how sport is associated with wars in Antiquity. Tours begin at the exhibition "Rodchenko and Stepanova. Football" and continue through halls of the main building. Tour takes about 90 minutes.
For foreign guests The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts prepared three additional tours in English: ‘Welcome to the Pushkin Museum’ (an overview tour of The Main Building), ‘Times of Rembrandt and Vermeer. Masterpieces from the Leiden Collection (tour on the temporary exhibition of masterpieces from the Leiden Collection), ‘From Monet to Picasso: French Painters in Russian Collections (an overview tour of the Gallery of the 19th and 20th century European and American Art). All tours can be booked online at the museum's website.
Visitors can also download audio guides of The Main Building and The Gallery of the 19th and 20th century European and American Art in Russian and English.
