Italian sculpture of the 15th century

The display in this gallery consists of casts of works by the most important masters of the Early Renaissance – the Florentine architect and sculptor, Filippo Brunelleschi Ghiberti, the jeweller's apprentice Lorenzo Ghiberti and the sculptor from Siena, Jacopo della Quercia. The Museum's collection of casts also gives a wide-ranging selection of works by one of the most striking sculptors of the Italian Renaissance, Donatello. A prominent place in the display hs been assigned to works from the atelier of the della Robbia family.
