Ivan Tsvetaev Educational Art Museum

The Ivan Tsvetaev Educational Art Museum was founded in 1997 and opened its doors on June 30 of the same year. This department of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is located at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH). 7 museum halls boast 750 casts and copies made from art objects of Ancient Egypt, Southwest Asia, Ancient Greece and Rome, and Europe of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and they are exhibited in Paris, London, Berlin, Cairo, St. Petersburg, and many other museums of Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, etc. The Educational Museum is open to the general public and is used for classes, thus revitalizing the Tsvetaev tradition of a direct connection between the museum and the learning process.
